Yesterday I attempted to make a lovely little petal fairy house, using a cork from a bottle of wine, it all seemed to go well until………
……I baked it this morning.
Sadly it has cracked in several places, I think it could be salvageable, it gives it character I think.
I may try filling in the cracks with clay and re bake and see what happens.
I’m wondering if it was because I used a cork that maybe expanded with the heat of the oven, which in turn cracked the clay.
It has never done it before on glass. Interesting result. If I decide to patch it up, I will post a picture in the future.
